Privacy policy

Your email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), the profile details you choose to add, and the benefit, paycheck and deadline records you enter. If you subscribe to Premium, our payment processor stores your payment details; we only keep your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, member IDs or medical information, and you should not enter them.

Only to run the features you use: sign-in, your dashboard, the estimates you ask for, deadlines, AI explanations and billing. We do not sell your data or show ads.

Records are stored in a Postgres database run by Supabase. Row-level security rules in the database restrict every row to the account that owns it, so one user cannot read another user's records. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers.

If you use the Explain feature and AI is switched on, the text you type (with emails and long numbers removed) is sent to Anthropic to generate an explanation. Your name, email, employer and saved records are never sent. We keep a count of AI requests to enforce daily limits, but not the text you asked. Built-in explanations run inside PerkEasy and send nothing anywhere.

You can edit or delete any record at any time, download all of your data from Settings, and delete your account, which permanently removes your profile and every record. Provider backups and logs may keep deleted data for a limited time under their own retention policies.
